Solution for Scars™ can be used for any scars (old and new). Suitable for use from birth, Solution for Scars can be used on surgical scars, chickenpox scars, acne scars, laser surgery scars, burn scars and scars caused by cuts and grazes.

Old scars – If your scar is flat, silvery/normal skin tone then it may have completed its
healing cycle and improvements may not be made or would only be minimal and improve
hydration. However, if your scar is symptomatic i.e.. itchy/red/raised/discoloured then it may
have become trapped in its healing cycle and our product can help supress the inflammatory
cells causing the issues and allow it to finish healing

Solution for Scars™ is suitable for treating all types of scars old and new. Solution for Scars is clinically proven to improve the appearance of scars, reduce the appearance of redness and reduce the thickness of scars.

Types of Scar:-

Keloid – Keloids are an advanced form where a red, raised scar is formed as a result of too
much collagen and can grow beyond the boundaries of the original wound. They can be itcy and painful.

Contracture – Appears wrinkled due to tightening of the skin usually as it shrinks and often as a result of a burn.

Hypertrophic – These are raised scars caused by excess collagen being produced at the site of the wound and can continue to thicken within the boundaries of the wound.

Yes, Solution for Scars™ can be used from birth and is suitable for babies. Please note, do not use the cream on the nappy area or any open wounds.

When you have stitches / a healing wound:

Solution for Scars is clinically proven to penetrate the skin and can be applied on the area around the wound to help reduce redness and support your skins healing process. It is important to note this must be on intact skin, but working the cream into intact skin around the wound will have a positive effect on your healing scar.When you have a closed scar:You can start using Solution for Scars™directly on your scar as soon as your skin is intact. So, if your wound has healed, it’s the perfect time to start application directly on your scar.

Please don’t use Solution for Scars on broken or damaged skin or an open wound.

Yes –Solution for Scars can be used on all types of scarred skin. Please ensure the skin is not damaged, open or broken and the area is dry before use.

Is this product suitable for all skin types?

Will it help fill in indentations/pitted (atrophic) scar?

Our product will not fill in the indentations left from older scarring, you may wish to seek advice from a dermatologist

Will it lighten my Scar?

The product does not contain artificial lightening properties, it can help with
hyperpigmentation as part of the scar healing process.

We advise applying 2-3 times a day but the levels of the active ingredients in the product are very high, so a small amount goes a long way.

It is safe for you to use for 6 months after opening.

It can be used to reduce redness and reduce the appearance of scarring for spot/acne prone skin.

Use Rescueafter your normal cleansing routine and before moisturisers and serums as it needs to penetrate the skin so it can work at a cellular level.

Depending on your skin hydration, you may find that Rescue has enough moisturising
properties that you don’t need to add your moisturiser, this will vary by skin type.
