What is Magnolia Bark?
It is a species of Magnolia which grows in the mountainous regions of China. It has been used for centuries in Chinese medicine for various skin complaints.

How does Magnolia Bark work?
The bark contains compounds, called magnolol and honokiol, which have been demonstrated to have anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.1
